AWP 508 Draw Wire Position Transducer

Overview

The AWP 508 is a draw wire position transducer providing analog position feedback over strokes up to 8,000 mm. Like others in the AWP family, it converts linear wire travel into a proportional electrical signal. CANopen output is available for fieldbus integration. The IP54 housing (optional IP67) suits industrial environments.

Strokes up to 8,000 mm — covers long-range position feedback in a single unit

Multiple output types — potentiometric, 0–10 VDC voltage, 4–20 mA current, and CANopen

±0.5% FS linearity — reliable accuracy across the full measurement range

IP54 standard, IP67 optional — suited to wet and dusty environments

Stainless steel wire — corrosion resistant, high tensile strength

CANopen fieldbus option — direct integration into industrial networks
