Overview

The AWE 508 converts linear motion into incremental digital pulses using an optical encoder and a high-strength stainless steel wire. Stroke lengths up to 8,000 mm are available in a compact aluminium body. With 3 pulse/mm resolution (0.075 mm per edge), multiple output types, and up to 2 m/s maximum speed, the AWE 508 suits demanding position control in wood processing, marble machines, glass processing, and industrial automation.
